Hi, my name is Evgeny.

There are so many hobbies, occupations, achievements and milestones in my life, that to write down some clear summary was always a bit of an issue for me. I am a photographer and a designer. And at the same time, I am interested in traveling, psychology, motivation and a healthy lifestyle. How do I put all of that into a coherent short text?

That’s why for this version of the website I decided to go more comfortable and do not write any bio at all. Now you can read what you are interested in, not everything. Moreover, you can ask me any question right now, to which I am happy to answer you!

How did I start my photography career and what do I specialize in?

I got my first camera back in in 2000. It was a Russian film camera “Zenit”. At that time I was really into mountaineering and I wanted to keep memories about the beauty of the mountains not only in my mind. I am very grateful to that period of time since the lack of an LCD screen and just a little bit more than 100 frames for 2-3 weeks taught me to think carefully about what I shoot and create the composition on the fly, in my imagination.

But, perhaps, the main milestone for my photography career, happened in 2008, when I went to shoot the extreme event “Freeride World Tour”. That was my first major assignment, the first press accreditation, the first publications in the magazines, the first prizes in various photo contests. Some of those photos are still in my portfolio.

I call my specialization “Adventure Photography”. I do not shoot only the landscape or just travel. I try to combine both of these genres and convey the spirit of travel and the taste of adventure. In my photos, I want to show the colorfulness, the brightness of our world.

What have I achieved and what brands have I worked with?

I have participated in numerous national and international contests. My achievements include becoming a finalist in the Russian national contest “The Best Photographer 2010”, winning the “Sports Russia” contest, being named a commended entrant in the “Nature & Wildlife” Category in the Open Competition of the Sony World Photography Awards 2012, becoming a finalist in the American Landscape 2012 competition, becoming a finalist in 32nd Annual Spring Photography Contest “Photographer’s Forum Magazine” and being gotten the Bronze Award in “One Eyeland Photography Awards” competition.

What kind of design do I do and how can you hire me?

I call myself a hybrid designer, which means I am very experienced and successful in both UX and UI/Visual design.

My specialties are UX Design, UI Interaction Design, and Mobile & Web Application Design.

What I find truly rewarding is using my skills to help advance significant projects. My biggest strength is that I am creatively ambidextrous and can jump quickly from artistic to technical projects.
